I hear it often —
“I’m so tired of covering my gray every few weeks.”
For some, it’s the frustration of a harsh grow-out line. For others, it’s wanting their silver to blend more naturally with their highlights. And sometimes, it’s simply the desire to look polished without feeling like you’re constantly chasing regrowth.
The good news? You have options.
Going gray doesn’t have to feel like giving something up. With a thoughtful approach, gray can be blended, softened, and transitioned in a way that feels intentional — not abrupt. The goal isn’t to erase who you are. It’s to create a look that grows in seamlessly and supports your lifestyle.
If you’ve been wondering whether going gray could work for you, consider what feels aligned right now. The right plan isn’t one-size-fits-all — it’s personal, gradual, and built around your comfort level.

Oftentimes I get asked questions in the salon. So I started thinking to myself, “In what way could I use these questions and I wonder if others are thinking the same?” So the Q and A was born. Check this month's questions below.
Q: Why do hair appointments take so long these days, compared to early 2000's when we could be in and out in 2 hours?
A: The short answer? Hair color has evolved-big time!!!
Back in the early 2000's, most color services were pretty straightforward: All over color, basic highlights, or chunky streaks (remember those?) Techniques were simpler. and the focus was more on speed rather than customization.
Now the hair industry is all about personalized, lived -in color that grows out beautifully and keeps hair healthy. Services like blonding, balayage, grey blending, and vivid colors require meticulous placement, multiple steps, and sometimes (oftentimes I'm finding out) color corrections. All while keeping your hair's integrity in mind.
On top of all that, today's color formula's are often gentler and ammonia-free, which means they take a little longer to process but are much healthier for your hair.
So while a 2 hour appointment might have worked for a basic foil job back in the day, today's color transformations take time to ensure they look effortless, last longer, and keep your hair feeling amazing.
Good hair is an art- and art can't be rushed!
